Repeat prescriptions can be obtained by ticking which medication you require on the tear-off slip on the right hand side of your prescription. To avoid waste please tick only the medications you need. You can then either:
Post the form into our repeat prescription letter box in the wall outside the main entrance
Give the form to the receptionist on the main desk at Hillside.

You can save time by arranging to have your prescription sent to the chemist of your choice. Please ask at reception for details.
Most prescriptions can now be sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy. This electronic prescription is fully traceable and so reduces the risk of “lost prescriptions”. It is not available for controlled drugs or some more unusual medications.
Patients on regular, stable prescriptions can arrange for repeat dispensing. This means that a simple prescription is issued for a period of up to 12 months, which is then issued by the pharmacy in instalments. The pharmacy will inform when the last instalment is issued.
Repeat Prescriptions are reviewed at least once a year by a doctor, nurse or pharmacist. You may be asked to attend for blood tests or a review of your condition in person or by telephone. If you have any queries about your medication please discuss this with the doctor or practice pharmacist.
